The Pink Swan

Personally I am not a bourbon or whiskey fan, but I actually could drink this one. You can definitely taste the whiskey flavors in it, but you don't feel that bite to it that gives you the shivers. I named this drink the pink swan, because the blueberries make it a beautiful pink color (you can't tell as much from the picture, but when you make it you'll see what I'm talking about) and swan just came to mind kind of like the black swan but pink! The whiskey I used for this was 1910 Old Forester, but you can use whatever is your favorite. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Recipe

What you will need

• 2 oz Whiskey

• 1 oz Triple Sec

• 1/4 oz Simple Syrup

• 1 Lime

• 1 Lemon

• 1 Orange

• 15 Blueberries

• Shaker

• Strainer

• Muddler

• Ice

• Optional: Slice of orange and 1 blueberry for garnish

Directions

1. Pour 2 oz of whiskey into a shaker

2. Put 15 blueberries in the shaker

3. Muddle the blueberries into the whiskey

4. Pour 1 oz triple sec into the shaker

5. Squeeze 1 lime, 1 lemon, and 1 orange into the shaker

6. Pour 1/4 oz of Simple Syrup into the shaker

7. Put ice in the shaker

8. Shake until shaker gets cold or until ice melts

9. Put ice in your glass (I prefer 1 large ball or square ice)

10. Strain your drink into your glass

11. Optional: garnish with a slice of orange and a blueberry

12. Enjoy!
